If you’re spending any time in Santiago, Valparaíso is a must-see. Only 1.5 drive from the city center, going from Santiago to Valparaíso is an easy day or weekend trip.

9AM Leave Santiago

The journey from Santiago to Valparaíso is an easy one, and you only have two options – by bus or car. If you sign up with a tour group, your transport will likely be included, which makes it even more of a breeze. If not, the bus is supposed to be very easy, quick and cheap. Here’s a great […]

Best Lisbon Day Trips: Cabo Da Roca – The Westernmost Point of Europe

2019-10-09T08:52:51+07:00

One of the most epic, and doable, day trips from Lisbon is to the coast. Specifically, I highly recommend you take a Lisbon day trip to Cabo Da Roca – the westernmost point of continental Europe.

Not only is it cool to say, it’s stunningly beautiful and you can make the journey in style – hire a Jeep tour.

The roads that take you from Lisbon to Sintra are gorgeous – if you go by way of Cascais, you can marvel at the beautiful ocean views before heading into the more forested […]

Japan is a country that is on many of our bucket lists. With all the stories of culture, history, beauty and intrigue surrounding it, Japan has a magnetic pull for many travelers. But in addition to all the good stuff – between all the rules, customs and cultural differences, Japan can also sound a bit intimidating.

Whether you’re traveling for a few days on a stopover or spending a month there (like us), there are a few key things to keep in mind and prep for.

Packing for Remote Year – How to Pack for a Year of Travel

2019-07-26T17:55:44+07:00

My take on packing for Remote Year. From a former Remote who completed a 4-month program, and now halfway through leading a 12-month program.

How do you plan for 12 months of travel across 12 countries, four continents, and several different climates? Not-so-secret Secret: It’s not easy, and anyone who tells you otherwise is lying.

That’s the dilemma every remote has to face before embarking on their Remote Year journey. And if we can get through it, so can you.

Here’s what I packed:
